Reminder: Magnify your Lord
Do not boast of yourself, your lineage, your teachers, or your affiliations. Do not let reverence become blind partisanship, nor belonging turn into pride. Such claims to greatness are only mirages, bright on the surface, hollow within. Pride is a dark shadow: it dims the heart, hardens it, and leaves a person empty and undone.
Greatness belongs to your Lord alone. Magnify Him until your heart trembles and your soul bows low. He alone is the Greatest; all majesty in the heavens and the earth is His. Every perfection flows from Him, and every created thing stands only by His will. Without Him, nothing endures, not for a moment.
When His true greatness settles in your heart, every false grandeur falls away. Nearness to Him ennobles you, humbles you, cleanses you. He forgives those who repent and pours mercy upon those who return. Let His greatness be your refuge, and His praise the purpose of your life.
