The experience of jurisprudence for those who delve deeply into it is one thing, while discussing its margins without knowing the specifics of the issues is quite another. The practitioners of dialectics and debate engage primarily in the latter, imposing upon others what they themselves cannot uphold. They speak of jurisprudence as if they only understand broad concepts and generalities.

However, the specifics require a particular insight and evidence that can only be grasped by those who are familiar with the individual issues. [Al-Sarim Al-Maslul]

The objectives-oriented scholars, contemporary jurists, and various other groups resemble those of the second category in their focus on generalities and broad concepts. The problem is that, despite their generality, they do not encompass the desired objectives.
