Reminder: When the egg hatches
When the egg hatches and the chick emerges, it passes from the narrow confines of its shell into the breadth of life, entering a new stage in which its powers unfold and its limbs grow complete. Its faculties develop gradually, its movements strengthen little by little, until its wings appear, wings by which it may rise and soar. What seems, in outward appearance, a sudden transformation is in truth the fruit of hidden preparation within the shell, and of long patience endured in darkness and constraint, until the appointed hour of release arrives.
Such is also the condition of man upon the paths of life. Success is neither a fleeting flash nor a gift obtained without cost; rather, it is the outcome of persistent endeavour, unwavering resolve, and steadfast patience in the face of hardship. Whoever desires that the horizons of glory be opened before him must bear the hardship of beginnings and persevere in labour, however long the road may be. When he is sincere in his pursuit and devoted in his effort, his striving will blossom, and the signs of success will appear, just as the chick’s wings appear after hatching. Through diligence doors are unlocked; through patience aims are attained; and he who sows with sincerity reaps with joy.
