And so our journey concluded, yet its meanings did not; for some travels end when the road does, while others begin when the road ends. This journey belongs to the latter category: we returned to our homes, but it initiated within us another voyage—a journey into the self and beyond, where one stands between their frailty and hope, between their need for God and God’s independence from them. How true it is what travels teach us: the path to places may come to an end, but the path to truth never does.
