Shaykh Nureddin Boyacilar is arguably the greatest muhaddith of Turkey. He studied in Azhar and saw the likes of Zahid al-Kawthari. He revived the study of hadith Sciences across the country by raising many students and developing a comprehensive hadith curriculum for takhassus

He also worked in Riyadh and taught Hadith for many years at the Muhammad bin Saud University. He was very close to Shaykh Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah and worked on many projects under his tutelage.

He has published and edited many works, most famously the Nawadir al-Usul of Hakim al-Tirmidhi and Kitab al-Mawdu’at of İbn al-Jawzi Shaykh Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah actually visited him in Konya shortly before he passed away.
