The Eagle and the Crow

21/5/2026

The eagle, with its majesty, strength, lofty flight, and self-respect, holds a unique position among all birds. It is regarded as the king of the skies, with a keen gaze, powerful flight, and dignified demeanor. On the other hand, the crow is a noisy bird, often engaged in annoying others.

It is said that sometimes a crow perches on the eagle’s neck and begins to peck at it. The crow makes noise, tries to disturb the eagle, and hopes to provoke it into a confrontation. If the eagle wishes, it could easily eliminate the crow with a single strike, but it refrains. The eagle knows that engaging with the trivial is beneath its dignity.

The eagle neither gets angry nor screams, nor does it waste time. Instead, it silently spreads its strong wings and begins to soar towards the heights of the sky. The higher it ascends, the thinner the air becomes and the harsher the winds blow. The crow, accustomed only to lower altitudes, cannot endure this elevation. Eventually, it tires, its strength wanes, and it is forced to fall back or retreat. Meanwhile, the eagle continues to fly with its grandeur and elevation.

This incident holds a profound lesson for human life. Often in life, one encounters people who envy the success of others. They criticize, mock, hurt, and try to hinder progress. Some people, to hide their own failures, constantly object to others. If a person starts responding to every comment and fighting every adversary, all their energy will be wasted.

A successful person is one who, like the eagle, maintains a lofty vision. Instead of getting entangled in people’s taunts and criticisms, they focus on their destination. They elevate their efforts, knowledge, character, and achievements to such a height that the critics are left behind. Time proves that those who make noise are temporary, while those who work silently create history.

The great individuals of the world have also chosen this path. They did not let opposition become their weakness but used it as a means for advancement. When people criticized them, they improved their skills. When others tried to belittle them, they rose higher through their hard work. Ultimately, success continued to embrace them.

We should adopt the path of the eagle in our lives. It is not necessary to respond to every voice. Retaliating against every criticism is not wise. Sometimes, silence, patience, and continuous effort are the greatest responses. If a person elevates their thoughts, character, and purpose, negative people naturally move out of their way.

It must be remembered that a crow can never reach the heights of an eagle. Those who waste time trying to bring others down cannot achieve elevation themselves. But those who focus on their goals eventually touch the heights of the sky.

The principle of life is to elevate your flight instead of engaging with critics. Because when a person reaches the heights of their hard work and character, opponents tire and fall behind, and success becomes their destiny.
