تو شناسی سوز و آوازِ دل

رو به هر سو کردم و باز آمدم
نیست جز درگاهِ تو آغازِ دل

بیتو میشوم تنها و بیکس در جهان
جز تو نیست مرهمِ درمانِ دل

ای خدای بزرگوار، ای پناهِ بیپناهان
گر نگویم با تو، با که گویم راز و نیازِ دل؟

گر نخواهم از تو، ای ربّ الجلیل
پس که باشد بی تو کارسازِ دل؟

Translation:
O Allah, You know the secrets of the heart,
You know its pain and its voice.

I turned in every direction, yet I returned,
There is no beginning for the heart except at Your door.

Without You, I become alone and without anyone in this world,
None but You is the healer and cure of the heart.

O Most Generous, O Refuge of those with no refuge,
If I do not speak to You, then to whom shall I express the secrets and needs of my heart?

If I do not ask from You, O Lord Most Majestic,
Then who, besides You, can take care of this heart?
